Hora Staccato is a 1906 virtuoso violin showpiece by Grigoraș Dinicu, written as his graduation piece for the Bucharest Conservatory. It is one of the most famous encore works in the violin repertoire, celebrated for its dazzling staccato bowing technique and its blend of Romani folk style with classical virtuosity.
