Grande Valse Brillante (Solo)

Grande Valse Brillante (Waltz in E‑flat major, Op. 18) composed by Frederic Chopin, transcribed for accordion solo by English accordion teacher and performer Rosemary Wright.

This was Chopin’s first published waltz (composed 1833, published 1834), a dazzling, Parisian‑style showpiece that helped redefine the waltz from ballroom entertainment into refined concert art. It is dedicated to his pupil Laura Horsford and remains one of the most frequently performed of all Chopin waltzes.
