Fugue in G Minor, BWV 578 — “The Little Fugue”
Fugue in G Minor, BWV 578 — “The Little Fugue”
SKU: ATG11074A
Fugue in G Minor, BWV 578 — “The Little Fugue” is one of Johann Sebastian Bach’s most iconic organ works, composed early in his career (between 1703–1707) while he served as a church organist in Arnstadt, Germany. Despite its nickname, it is not “little” in importance—only in length, especially compared to Bach’s later Great Fantasia and Fugue in G minor, BWV 542.
