Ballet Music (Pas de Six) from William Tell is a short, elegant divertissement that appears in Act I, Scene 8 of Gioachino Rossini’s 1829 opera Guillaume Tell (William Tell). It is sometimes titled Pas de six or Passo a sei (“Dance of the Six”), referring to the six dancers for whom it was choreographed.
