This was written originally for my school recorder group, and has since been played worldwide. A parent who runs a similar recorder group in South Africa recently wrote to say that her players really loved the ‘grown-up’ feel of the solos, just like a real band, they said! Hopefully this arrangement for Accordion Orchestra will similarly give each ‘section’ a chance to jazz around with the easily-learnt solos and accompaniment. A light drum accompaniment would be particularly effective! |
