This Australian tune dates from the middle of the 19th Century, at least in some version. Also called The Overlander, it chronicles the adventuresome life of the Australian drover, particularly in its chorus: "Pass the billy round, boys! Don't let the pint-pot stand there! For tonight we'll drink to the health of every overlander."
