Notes from the Arranger:
kfremar301 '57 Chevy:

Although I never owned one of these iconic old cars, it was sought out by my father and many other fathers for their teenager’s first old used car. (Now I read that restored vintage convertible ’57 Chevys sell for $100,000!) This is a fun little ternary structure work that employs a returning second interval as the “car horn” sound and stays in a movable closed hand position.

Lyrics are added as a memory aid. Alternating bass may be employed if desired, although the plodding nature of the bass as written might best depict the rambling old car. The piece is intended for the beginning player; adult or young student.
