Chen Dinghua learned traditional bass accordion from Master Liu Zhingming, the famous accordion player in the Song and Dance Troupe of Lio Yang City when she was 5 years old. Meanwhile she showed great talent for art. In 2007, she became the student of Professor Cao Xiaoqing from the Central Conservatory of Music and started to learn Bayan accordion. Then she improved her performance skill rapidly thanks to the careful teaching and rigorous training from Professor Cao. She was admitted tot he Middle School Affiliated to the Central Conservatory of Music by excellent grades in April 2010. During the schooling she was awarded with scholarship many times.

In recent years, under the guidance of Professor Cao, Chen Dinghua has won many domestic and overseas accordion competition awards with her good music perfeption and steady performance. She was received by the Counselor of the Education Department of China's Embassy in Germany when she got there to participate in the international competition. She has held dozens of concerts at home and abroad and won high praises from the experts and audience.
