This is a jazzy waltz that is played more as a “vamp” than as a piece, and presents the possibility of playing “short stretch” chords underneath a tune that stretches over just 1 ½ octaves. Written in the keys of C Major and Ab Major, it includes some snatches of Art van Damme-style jazzy treble effects that instruments other than the accordion would find impossible to imitate. The piece is ideally suited to Stradella bass instruments for its rhythmic content. |
