This piece was written when Charlie Watkins (well known to accordionists in England as "Mr Amplification") survived a serious medical problem – a heart attack – and is a tribute to him. It is a lighthearted laugh at life, and is best described as a novelty piece. Written in 4/4 time, in the keys of F Major and Bb Major. It is ideally suited to Stradella bass instruments. |
